Startimes’s Powerful Sponsorship Lineup

With such an outstanding track record, it is no surprise that over the years the multi award-winning Startime has been able to attract the support and involvement of an impressive array of sponsoring companies and organizations.

It all started with Heineken Beer who were title sponsors for the first 18 years. Then there is CVM TV who came on board in 1996 to commence a relationship with the entertainment industry industry which has grown into the enviable place they now hold as frontrunners in entertainment TV.

Media sponsorship in the form of reduced advertising rates and promotional support, first came from JBC Radio 2 later becoming Radio 92FM, and expanded to include IRIE FM, Fame 95FM, Kool 97FM, the Gleaner, the Jamaica Observer, the Xtra News and Mystic 1580AM, a popular station among South Florida-based Jamaicans.

Other sponsors over the years included Air Jamaica, Kosmo Car Rental and Tours, COK Credit Union, Christar Villas Hotel, Sportsmax TV, Jamrock Sports Bar & Grill, 925 Jerk, Interlinc Communications, Knightsman, Worldtron, Breezes Montego Bay, Versalles Hotel in Clarendon, Golf View Hotel in Mandeville, Electrotech, Spike Industries, Catherine’s Peak Water and Grizzly’s.

For the highly anticipated return of Startime, J.Wray and Nephew has stepped into the headline sponsorship role with White Overproof Rum and Stone’s Ginger Wine and has, through Brand Manager Cecil Smith, been offering tremendous support in several key areas .

CVM TV and Kool 97FM are back in their accustomed role as our main media sponsors along with Winford Williams’ On Stage TV and Creative Production and Training Centre (CPTC).

Pepsi, Ting, Juici Patties, and Happy Ice have also joined the team to help ensure that our refreshment areas will meet all customer expectations. Securipro will carry responsibility for security including the spacious Golf Academy parking area; while O.J. Bewley’s Starlight Productions will be working with MKB to ensure the usual high quality production. Wally Grant’s Kingston Hireage, Devon Bourne’s Texaco, Charles Sims’ Seals and Engravables and venue owners Liguanea Club complete the list of sponsors.
