The Manhattans featuring Gerald Alston for Startime     in Jamaica July 8 !!

There is a special treat in store for Jamaica and fans of The Original Startime – Jamaica’s longest-running concert series – with the breaking news that legendary American soul group The Manhattans featuring Gerald Alston will grace Jamaica’s shores for   a one-night-only, command performance with their band at Kingston’s historic National Arena on Saturday  July 8, 2017.

Alston is promising that the popular group’s sound has not changed, as he will be accompanied by remaining members May and Harvey  for their highly-anticipated  Startime performance in Jamaica.  

Sharing the stage with The Manhattans will be Jamaican legends Derrick Morgan, Ken Boothe, DJ Dennis Alcapone – flying in from London for this special event  – plus dynamic Jamaican songbird Gem Myers. The local acts will be backed by the Startime Orchestra – Lloyd Parks & We The People with stage, sound and lights by True Tone.

“We want all our fans in Jamaica to come and join us when we appear there in July with     our own band. We promise them the concert of a lifetime, as we will be doing all the hits  they have come to know and love The Manhattans for ….. there  will be something     for everyone” Alston declared.
